1.
While the west is falling While the west is falling Fireworks are glowing He's got to earn his own stock his own slavery He's got to learn his own luck his own liberty In the distance old castles are crumbling In the distance old cities raging In the distance an old castles is burning In the distance new cities raising It's gonna leave a long trail and a black stain on the earth While the west is falling Fireworks are glowing
2.
Folding Iron 03:23
River carries out, it will carry you out it will drag you out there Bending people’s will to be quiet Folding iron like simple sheet It's so misleading Don't you get caught in this zone They're breaking idols they're making icons
3.
First Draft 04:14
For nothing now can ever come to any good And sheer Beauty is what they say what can't be delayed Taking a hand Selling a soul Look at her dance Fall in the trap, she's a target It's her first draft Drawn from first doubt The neon buzz, the night shift rolls and never changes Curiosity has turned into a ominous feeling It's still too soon to break an oath and give away And spying glances are everywhere at any time Taking a hand Selling a soul Look at her dance Fall in the trap, she's a target It's her first draft Drawn from first doubt But she will haunt the same places She leaves her grieves for the night She will be there for a while She won't forget where she went And all the rest won't remain
4.
My friend's lonely mate is gone ahead of us Well dear I found no time to say I wasn't marching his way He said I don't belong where everyone of you are bailing out Good luck I have no faith I could buy it from you with a golden curl My friend's lonely mate is gone another way The days are moving fast and slow the weight of the spirit goes he jumped another stream he leaped a little farther again No sigh no after-cry the Vanity the error of the whole He's fading he won't grow back All his lies gone up in smoke Carrying is weight on his back Oh ! He's left like a grey shell He stands still There's nobody inside his head straight and proud There's nobody inside his head
5.
Where he dwells Oh we swell And we swear Elijah's spell is ours There was a time and place Alas he felt a stir in the air The shadows are merely flowers This is a place of sweat and sour Down comes hail the curse befall Where he dwells Smell the breeze and hum his ways Bid farewell to thee He said : I'm back in to this realm, no doubt no doubt no doubt at all He said My heart is that of stone no harm no harm no harm at all He said : I'm back in to this realm, no doubt no doubt no doubt at all _______________ There rolls the deep where grew the tree The whirlwind took him away A sparkle once caught his eye Bid farewell to the elder He said : I'm back in to this realm, no doubt no doubt no doubt at all He said My heart is that of stone no harm no harm no harm at all He said : I'm back in to this realm, no doubt no doubt no doubt at all
6.
The stage coach feeds of the queen it's on the lawn and knows no fast I don't mind Which way you choose her majesty or reality Right hand, left hand, black post, white ghost all the signs are there with the utmost care roll call, places change, sit up straight, write me a letter when you've won a fight, if you find your family This jewel isn't yours it's on display You can play the thief or give and take Too many transports too many ghosts Too many Gophers to many rats Too many jewels too many germs Too many carpets too little joy Too many levels too many stairs Too many transports too many ghosts Right hand, left hand, black post, white ghost all the signs are there with the utmost care roll call, places change, sit up straight, write me a letter when you've won a fight, if you find your family It all began with a little spark in a cellar It all began behind the Christian door but all dead-end finishes with a sacrifice
7.
They came from the North side-walks Deserting Duggan's cab The rumour blew the sparks from Carpetright Obsolete soldiers defend a castle made of sand there're the tide on their back They're never looking at 4 Nights in August And the caterpillar was still ungry Bitter-sweet melodies of cobblestones beneath a neon god Tottenham kids claiming for justice and tv screens Hundreds of hoodies taunting the black and yellow shell
8.
He's blinded by the bore He's grinding down the pole You haven't see, nothing, nothing at all He's blinded by the bore He's standing all alone You haven't see, nothing, nothing at all It's colourless, in the air It's colourless, on the ground You haven't see, nothing, nothing at all flakes and flakes and flakes... No one 's here for the blessing All the crews have been spread out Captain Scott is missing No witness for the showdown Down I go This is home the die are thrown The great white is a killer He's grinding down the pole You haven't see, nothing, nothing at all He's glazing all around Facing all his goals You haven't see, nothing, nothing at all
9.
On two more men more men more one clings still one carries me If him see I bearing down Grass bush eyes gulls coming far was up shore fish coming down me me more lips digging down deep see out far doryman ice rocks ice snow yes I did beat wash out sail frugal key drew far gone you juggernaut wide spread wings out arkangels toy fair freeze out do not play cold fog set sail slip away salt cod cold see dory out mad man salt sick no not now swoop loops sidekicks shutting off fish fish I fish coming The white fleet is coming and we're all suspended waiting for a broken heart to lean towards us trying to find a new home The last man is boarding They're setting sail at dawn waiting for a new celebration holding cross and anchor high in the sky the white fleet glides in All your men are on safe land Wealth is stowed away in the loneliness of the dory it all seems so far
10.
Another Era 05:26
There was a rumour going in every bar in every home “can’t recall” They all seemed to be walking in the same direction “can’t recall” It's a train of thoughts diluted into the death of a city Its steams and fumes were slowly descending on our minds Another era has come to an end where are we now it’s pace is faster and faster It stays buried and hides underground and slowly moves outbound from the city It slowly leaks from all cellars evolves and crawls out like an oil stain It'll haul them out to a safer ground where they will scape and bow to any promises

about

The new eponymous album from We Insist! and the first as a trio. Recorded in Studio Nibiru in 2013, this self-titled album incorporates noise, post-hardcore, math-rock and pushes even further the ever-changing aspects of rock and its' unexplored variations. For the reference-savvy purists, we’ll make reference to acts such as Fugazi, Primus, NoMeansNo, Tool or Medications.

Trimmed down to three members since 2010, We Insist! has gone back to basics with their feet firmly planted in the ground, creating more melodic music than before; surplus and excess removed.

about

We Insist! Paris, France

After hundreds of concerts, extensive touring in Europe and 5 albums, WE INSIST! have from the very the beginning shared the same desire to battle for new musical ideas. These ideas and goals are the main reasons for their uncommon longevity: WE INSIST! is more than a rock band, it’s a genuine musical project.

Is it post-hardcore, noise, metal, independant rock, pop or experimental?
